Might have a line on a running motor and was wondering if there was an adapter,

i figure at worst there almost had to be an adapter to go to 39 box and from there to 4spd,

I also see speedway has an adapter to BOP, that takes a Special flywheel and expensive starter

But what about flywheel and starter, what are you guys doing??

Old Offenhauser/Cragar adapters for '54-'62 Cadillac to '49 and newer Ford transmissions show up on Ebay occasionally, but I don't know about a current source for a standard shift flywheel. Early Olds 'wheels are the same as Cad, as long as the corresponding starter drive is used.

Try Bendtsens Transmission Center in Ham Lake MN...763-767-4480. I have a 56 Caddy to a Super T-10. Worked perfectly. Excellent machining, comes with adapter plate, crank adapter,Mini high torque starter, all bolts, pilot bearing. This kit bolted right on and has not given me any trouble.
