looking good man. the B-17 lights are a wicked idea, in fact, I'm going to have to try and 'one-up' you... I better start looking for some lights from an Avro Landcaster... haha keep us updated!
Very nice, just starting on my 31. Planning on putting in a 5.0 and chopping 3 inches. Keep the pics coming so we can see the progress
Very cool build Terry, I like your style. As per your PM, here are some pictures of my recently completed '30 A 2-dr Sedan named 'Lime-Squeeeezer'. Completely homebuilt caveman style, 100% custom everything.
Wanted to have that open header look when standing about 5 feet or further from car. So i decided to go thru the cowl. Once cut it just never could look finished to me. So i decided to dress it and wanted that rivet look so the drilling began. Looks a little better now.
Looking good I am in the process of building my 31 Model A truck. I am also posting pics of the process for others to see.
Wanted to dress the opening on the body that the diff comes through in the wheel well area. It just didnt look finished to me so had to come up with somthing. I dont think it would still be up to par even with paint. I think that this will work though, matching what i did with the header down pipe going through the bottom of the cowl. The rivet look
Hi, the build looks awesome, love the louvered rear. I did a 5" chop as well. I run a '56 Caddy, 4spd and a Franland quick change. Keep up the good work. TUDORS RULE!!!!!
You are making my progress look too too slooowww man! Great speed on this project! I'm having a tuff time getting together with the fella helpping me rebuild my Poly. We were almost done with her last weekend, but had to order pushrods. He did not have time for me this weekend, so, still no motor mounts, trans mounts etc. One big honken build day comming up as soon as the 318 Poly comes home.
Love the look and the louvers on the back! Are you sure those holes in the frame aren't too big?, LOL!!!! Really sweet car...
I definitely dig the tail lights and the louvered insert. I also really like the riveted edge treatments around the cut outs. That's a nice detail that you don't see often (or ever). The seats are nice as well, not my cup of tea perhaps, but certainly well built and aesthetically pleasing all the same. I've been so busy the last few months, that my A is still setting on its dolly, untouched since last I took pictures. So much work to do at the day job that I'm done in by the time the weekend gets here, and here lately, I've been working those too. If I had three of me, I still don't think I could get it all done. I need a vacation . . . . . . so I can go out into the shop and get some work done.
Nice build... What balancer are you using for your blown 409? If you are using the 454 crank, the 454 balancer will hit the bottom of your water pump as I ended up using a 400 S/B balancer from Austrailia.... This balancer has eight threated holes into the balancer, therefore; you will not have to use the adapter, V-groove, pulley....
Just over a month since first post, you are steaming along. Great posts of your progress, you have some great ideas
Hey Man, Your Tudor looks Great.Nice Chop how much was removed?Got your P.M. about the chassis by the way.I also love the look of the louvers!Keep the pictures coming.Later Nick.
