I'm wondering if you all know that the swap meet has been moved to Arco Arena in Sacramento..August 3rd.. I'm wondering how many of you are going.. Duane.
FYI: The Swap meet is still being held during HANS, just under NEW management. The OLD management lost their contract for the HANS Swap meet and is holding their own event on Aug 3rd at the Arco Arena. Val
So is there still gonna be a swapmeet in Reno too? I haven't heard anything other than the Sac one and I live here... Who knows, HAN is a clusterf*#k...
The swap meet WILL take place at HAN and the new management will make every attempt to solve past problems. FYI: I'm not affiliated with the HAN swap meet or HAN. ( Hell, I don't even go!) I just know the folks that will be doing the field work at the swap meet. What problems are you addressing..I don't know of any issues with the sellers or the buyers..The reason was some burocratical.." BS".. Who will be going to the one is Sacramento.. Duane
You can find all all the info you need on the Reno Swap meet @ www.renoswapmeet.com I don't even go to Hot August Nights anymore....It's a waste of time,gas and cash.... so I'll definitely be checking out the swap at Arco Arena.

there werent any problems. HAN basically screwed the prior management out of the contract and gave it to a new org. Hey all is fair in the hot rod biz right? many major vendors are not going to Reno, but will be in Sac. Its a screwed up situation all around. I only went to HAN for the Swap Meet anyway, so its a the Sacramento Swap Meet for me.
