I found what is left of a 46-49 Chrysler T&C convertible woody. It is the floors, cowl section, and front fenders and part of 1 door. Frame is missing. Basically, everything was stripped off of the shell except the front fenders. Any ideas or pics of hot rodded T & C's. Can't get pics yet as I was tresp***ing and am trying to locate owner. I am told this is part of an old junk yard as their is various other parts lying aroung. Mostly 4 door shells, all stripped completely except strangely enough, most still have the dash shells.

  2. My idea is get it!

  3. If you can buy it, bring it home. Regular Chryslers that era are cheap enough, I'd throw it on a frame and put it on eBay. If you can find enough pieces of it, chances are someone will be willing to pay stupid money for it to build it.

But I wouldn't let on like you know what's there if you weren't supposed to be there.

Search county auditors tax records should be online by address. That'll give current owners contact address. Call 411. Offer to drag out remaining s**** to clean the property! Offer a notarized liability waiver in exchange for written permission to be on the property if necessary. Just get that car!

RARE car. Too rare and the wrong one to hot rod for a lot of reasons. Sell it to a restorer for enough markup to start a hot rod. Hell, as rare as they are you might find somebody willing to pay enough for a finished hot rod.

This is about as far as you should "hot rod" a T&C.
