Well actually about a week and a half ago. I had to drop it a little bit before I let anyone see it. It NEEDs a few things; like rear bumper ends, shocks now that it's lowered, and maybe a paint job in the next year or two. For now I'm just gonna drive it and have fun. Sorry about the pic size, I'm not real computer friendly

Thanks fellas! Yeah I'm pretty happy with it myself. I put the original wide white spare on it today just for looks. Definetely gonna have to buy some new rubber. Probably some bias ply's. Yes, I know about the ride quality. I have 'em on my wagon. They just look better.

    Thanks again,
    Jerry

Damn, that Caddy is ***S!, throw a set of WWWs on it and polish up all that chrome, beautiful. It would be even cooler if it was black, with that white top....

When I was a kid, my dad's oldest brother had a 56 exactly like that coupe! Same tan paint and all. I think they painted a bunch of 56's that color.

One of the few cars I wouldn't change. It would look great in candy red or blue. (It looks great now!)

Speaking of changing things, it was one of those deals where I had to tell the guy I wouldn't chop it. He claims the 26,550 miles on the odometer to be actual and he is one of those restorer guys that wouldn't sell it to just anyone. I had to pile some **** pretty deep before he gave it up. Anyway, out of respect for him, I'll leave it unchopped. FOR NOW!!

Very nice, it appears to be in much better shape and a lot less miles on it than our '57 when we first got it. We drove ours for 5 years or so before the 390 we put in it was running right, body work/paint and upholstery done and we are still not done but we enjoy the heck out of it.

Great score, hope to see you making the rounds in it.
