well, my "mild kustom" shoebox took yet another step in the direction of radical kustom,,, i just cant control myself,,,,,,hahah,,,,,after i added the fins, it NEEDED a chop,,,,after the chop, it NEEDED a section,,,,,,after the section,,,,,,,,,,well,,,,we'll see what happens,,, got the section all laid out,,,nothing crazy,,just 2",,,,,,which will just about give me the "magic formula" of 1/3 roof, 2/3 body,,,,,,,,, also decided my merc grille shell needed some narrowing, so i narrowewd it by 9 inches,,needs filler pieces to tie it in with the fenders,,but i like it a lot better,,,,, i start the surgery tomorrow and will post more pics as i go along.......tempted to start on her tonight,,,but i figured i'd get a good night sleep (yeah, right),,and go at her bright and early tomorrow......
Yea, Jim...you made the right decision on the sectioning!! To hell with the sleep, get goin on it tonight...easy for me to say. haha Keep the updates coming, I can't wait to see this next one!

thanks for that photoshop... the proportions are right where i want them,,,,cool..... 2" will be perfect,,thought about three,,but two is right for the car i think

Hi Jim! i have to tell you i didnt like the fins in the beginning, but this is getting better and better! it takes some big balls to cut a car up like that.. by the way, do you take a 41 caddy in trade for the merc!!LOL palle
