Cinematic, 2008 - Who is going?

Hannah and I will be travelling down with the Indy crew again this year. I think she asks me about every other day how long it is till we go to Ohio.
Earl sheib...I hope you bring down the lady you did last year. She is on Hannah's favorite person list since last year. See 'ya all there.

Hell, I'm 53 and it was the first time I had seen the movie.
Would I sit thru it again? Probably not.
I'm I glad I went to see it? Hell yes

Look at it this way, do you remember back in High School having to read "To Kill a Mockingbird" or having to read and do reports about Hemmingway? It was all part of what it took to graduate from school. Every car guy should have to set thru at least one of Jimmie's movies.

Watching "Rebel Without a Cause" one time now qualifies you to speak from experience and authority about the acting qualities of James Dean.

 

I had never seen it all the way through. I did however take the opprotunity to see it the best way possible. In a hot rod at a drive in with my girl!

I had a blast that weekend. I am trying to talk my self into going again. If I can get a little more caught up on life stuff I might be able to swing it. It is either this or Good Guys Columbus for me.

Dont take my review of the movie the wrong way. I had as much fun there as any show all summer. I just did not care for the movie.

Hope to see yo all again this year, maybe, possibly, probably, maybe..........

 

"To Kill a Mockingbird" or "Hemmingway"... All had a point and plot to the story!
I have recently watched some movies from the 70's & 80's that I thought were cool back in the day, but totaly sucked by today.

No matter what movie is playing the Cinematic is just to cool to pass up.

 

Hopefully I'll be there. Told the boss I need a couple saturdays off this summer.

 

I'm still working on getting my car back together and hoping there isn't anything in the way of mechanical that I have to order. I'm not that far but it's still a long walk.

My grand daughter Abigail (age 10) and I will be there in the Merc. Grandson and his lady will also be there in his Galaxie. Looking forward to another great time.

 

still gonna try to get their, my car wont be done but i might just follow big olds and denise down their

 

Planning on being there. Right now the engine/trans is out of the Olds and all the front sheetmetal is off. Wish me luck...

 

Mine is almost back together. I'm going after a bumper and grill tomorrow. Hopefully I'll not find any major mechanical gremlins after that.

 

I'm leaving Thursday at 4pm and heading to Megan's place for a slumber party. We will then be leaving the Canton, OH area with some more folks and siteseeing on the way there. You are more then welcome to join us.
