We had a good group show up for the Meet & Greet. Chime in with your names & positions on the photo. BB
Nice meeting you all even though I'm kinda a lurker on here and there... I'm the big ugly lug second from the right, aka the only guy playing pocket pool. I got a bunch of pics I'll post once I get home to my desktop computer. Tyrel
Nice to meet you bobk and the rest of the HAMBers. I am holding down the back left side while my girlfriend (camargma) has the front row left side covered.
And the rest of the front row from the left is Stevie D and his Pompador, Wowcars, Bob K and Jalopy Jim. Come on 2nd row guys, I ain't as good at this as Denise is. BB
That alright Dirty my goal is to get to the Round up. jim h The person with the hat in the front row.
I'm between Scoop and Paperdog, right behind Bob K. I saw a LOT of Hambers that did not come to the meet-n-greet.
I was late for the meet & greet, so I missed some of you... but I met a bunch of Hambers anyway, since they spotted me wearing a HAMB shirt. Maybe next year I'll try to make it down earlier to meet everyone.
Had to leave before the pic was taken. Nice to meet you sixinarow and to BS with Bob K. (thanks for the beer Ryan ) Going to have to find a different spot next year but I don't know where, I don't think thery wasn't an empty place on the grounds It's getting too dam big.
Hey it was really cool to meet you guys...hope to catch you at some of the udder events in the upper midwest this summer/fall. BTW, I am in the third row, mesh pith helmet (standing behind the 4th guy from the right in the second row)...I was driving the rust-over-turquiose '62 Cat wagon...On Saturday I was parked next to "Stuart in MN"'s killer '61 Bonneville coupe by the circular "House of Kolor" / John Deere building.
The meeting place will be discussed again hopefully i have ideas ... of co**** behind the Morton building (northeast corner of the race track (gr***y knoll)) and near the DNR building(north side lotsa shade and ease of traffic flow... AND OF CO**** BY THE MACHINERY HILL CENTRAL BIFFYS anyway thats along time yet 361 days and counting down.. just posted more pics on the other thread
As on this site, I also observed from a distance. I have no roadworthy vehicles at this time. Had a great time. I also picked up a few more parts on Sunday at the swap meet. If all goes well I will be driving next year, and not in tennis shoe mode. I hope all had a safe trip home. Dean
i'm missed the pic also we didnt leave fargo until late. but it was nice to talk you all and to meet others (marcy & side-valve) at other spots on the grounds
I walked down to the end of the street, down by the old wooden horse barns and around the corner by the swine barn, hardly anyone down there. Here are a couple pics I took, don't have time today to work on anymore but I'll post them when I get them up this week. I've got over 700 pictures of the show to go through.
In the pic I'm standing next to Engine-Ear; I'm mainly obscured but I'm wearing a white shirt and have on a pair of sungl***es. Here's our cars parked behind the John Deere building:
i missed it and what was crazy is that my model a was parked right around the corner from there.... oh well maybe next time
I think you had a better group show up in MN than we did in IN. Most people were too drunk to make it to the Meet & Greet. Whoops.
BobK knows my name! BobK knows my name! Thanks for the LoneStar! I needed that. And since Tyler had to go move to PA, Im going to need another resource to get me through the MN winters! Good seein everyone! Hey look, the stude even almost made it into a shot! Oh yeah, I'm the baldy in the red next to BobK.
