What is the car in the Miracle Ear commercial?

There is a miracle ear commercial running on game show network. All these people are talking about life and whatnot and theres this black dude leaning on his car, its a red covertible, looks to be 50s era plymouth or chrysler and it has a continential kit. What is this car? It is driving me crazy.

I've seen it, can't remember for sure, but think its a early 50s plymouth.

I was watching one of those shows on HGTV, home hunters or something. They said man there sure is a lot of traffic out here! Camera pans out and its a cherry 49-50 Merc wagon just cruisin down the strip. Friggin cool!

 

yeha its a 58 fairlane sure enough, thanks alot. The grille insert was removed and that was throwing the search off
