Thanks again for putting this together, that island is such a good time! Fun story, whenever I visit PIB I always enjoy hitting up the Round Bar and also seeing Pat Dailey. This past winter had a chance to spend a few days in Key West around a business trip. I was walking by Sloppy Joe's and noticed a familiar sign. Who is that playing? None other than Pat Dailey himself! What a pleasant surprise! Turns out he has played there pretty much as long as he has been playing in PIB! What a lucky guy, what life to live!

This is an excellent idea and plan. I will be there for sure. Put in Bay is a haven for old cars. There is a ton of T & A on the island. It would be a great site to see if a large group of HAMBer's invade the place and be featured in one of the infamous car parades. For those not familiar with the place, there is more available to do than a weekend will allow. While the focus of this weekend is the wine festival there are plenty of watering holes in which about all feature live entertainment (most for free). We got a great deal at a B&B on the island. Even cheaper than the hotel. Thats a change for as expensive as those things are during the regular season. This will really be a fun weekend. That'll be some picture seeing all our cars on the ferry at once. Can't wait!
Sounds fun! I'm inn. I think your going to need more than one ferry. I would be really surprised if only 20 or 25 cars decide to make the trip. Maybe have a ferry at 5, 7 & 9 ?

1st annual rally at the Bay!O.K. gang heres the scoop.Come spend the weekend at Put-in-Bay,Ohio Oct. 3,4,&5th.Free ferry transportation will be given to HAMBers and their Rod or Custom.These tickets are good only for that weekend.A block of rooms have been held at The Bayshore Resort at 130.00 per nite,2 queen beds.Please check their website at:bayshoreresortpib.com then call 419-285-3931 and ask for the HAMB discount.There is also camping and other options for lodging on the island.Please check the Miller Boat Line website at:millerferry.com for ferry schedules and more information about Put-in-Bay.This weekend is also the wine festival. (goodtime) The kickoff party will be at the Tiki Bar at the Bayshore Resort Fri. evening.I'll try to arrange a car parade and display at the winefest tent on Sat. and then on Sun. the locals put on a car parade led by the Police Chief,which is always fun.After you have made arrangements for accommadations PM me and I'll send you tickets for the ferry.Make sure you give me full address,type of vehicles,and number of HAMBers and familymembers.Try not to arrive too late on Fri. as the ferries get busy going to the island on that evening.Your ride must be rod or kustom and you must be HAMB member to get free transportation.If you want to bring the family there is plenty to do for kids on the island. Not to bad 2 or 3 days of driving.... I just drove in June from Sandhallow, Idaho to Blaine, Ohio in my old Dodge p/u that I bought there. Come on over and I'll buy ya a Coke or something!
Well my wife and I just returned from our very cool week-end at Put-In-Bay, Ohio. There were only two of us that showed up and the other guy had to head for home on Saturday..... BUMMER! Anyway that left Scott and his family and my wife and I to enjoy the whole H.A.M.B. week-end, and let me tell you we had a great time, the weather was just gorgeous and we are looking forward to next year. What a beautiful place to enjoy your old cars and old/new friends (now my wife wants to buy a week-end house there!). You missed a good time.
