I was looking at a shops junk yard today and found this. The guy did not speak much english but said it was a Chevy, I thought it was a Ford. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks

P.S. I was interested in the complete front axle.[IMG]

Possibly a 42 also unless someone can narrow it down by the remaining details.

I'm thinking 47-48 because of the stainless on the fender. 46 and earlier had ribs in them. ( I think)

42-47 Ford. Not 48 because they had tube shocks beginning in 48 (right?).

If it was complete and not rusty, then maybe $1500, but half the car is missing! Maybe I'm cheap.

It isn't worth $1500 though, unless you are dying to get one of those cars.

Anyone have a set of square spindles, backing plates and drums instead of me paying through the nose for this one.

'47 Tudor complete less engine has to be worth a grand ... if the rest of the sheet metal is there, make an offer.

    47

41 and 42 the divider bar for the wind wing was attached to the gl***, that one appears to be fixed. Also 41's have an exposed running board the full length of the rocker, this one doesn't.

Also I am leaning to 47 because of the skinny trim door handle.
