welcome to NC....I'm with Maulers C.C. down in Wilmington, NC. we're always messing around on some stuff around here. if you're in Jacksonville, check out the Hooligans. they are a cool bunch of guys with some bad *** hot rods and motersickles. and yeah, heavy rebel is cool. it seems like every year the car/bike turnout keeps getting better and better. i'm sure this year will be no exception. i would go this year except for the fact that i have a six week old at the house so it's a little hard for us to stray too far from home at the moment.

There's probably a couple guys that will come out of the woodwork when they finish but yeah, we are definitely in the minority as far as hot rods. In fact I really can't think of many coupe being driven around Charlotte. Although I did spot one today on the way to the vet. I didn't have time to talk but the car looked rad.

theres some really cool cars here...alot of restored A,s, tons of tri-five chevys...and some parts

I just scored 5 full flattys...carb to pan with trans...and a 32 front end here in town

Well, it definitely sounds like you in a better place then myself. Oh and I seen that you wrote HEMI coupes. I was just saying that there are no coupes of any sort around CHarlotte, let alone HEMI coupes. I bet that '32 5W coupe is going to be pretty slick. My own Coupe is shooting for more of a early fifty's drylakes coupe. It's a '51 331 backed by hopefully a '39 LaSalle. Wide 5's all around and a quickie out back. And I have been contemplating a hand made aluminum hood and sides.

    NOT TO HI-JACK THE THREAD!

    Hey Z

Is this an open invitation, or customer appreciation, or....?

If it's open. I'd really like to meet some of the NCHambers! I wouldn't be in the truck, but I might be able to roll in on the ol'Wing!

    Lemme know!

    It's an open invitation...

I was also looking at the weekend before. The 19th. When I hear back from the band I want to play it may be better for them. Just throwing it out there.

Looks like the band, Killer Filler, can't do the 26th, so let me see if I can put it together for the 19th.

Yeah, he's still hanging around. :D We'll be at Alibi tonight taking advantage of the strong pour and cheap prices, we put it on his tab... :D

    Oh well..........

I can't make the 19th! Gotta be in Charlotte during the same hours.

If it reverts back to the 26th, post it here and I'll be there!

    .........Just my luck!

I've tried to go talk to him at the bar but he's always so busy. He asked me to come out by your shop some Saturday but that's when I'm at MY shop!

I think the BBQ is a great idea. I'm sure we have at least one cl***ic Mopar we can bring the crew in.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTILL THE WEEKEND!!!!! (and it's only monday)
Man I have been here for dam near two weeks and the only cl***ic/hotrod I have seen on the road is a few camero's. Unless you count all the cars that I spotted on my way to Monroe this weekend. I need to get ma a GPS so I can plot where they were. I seen a nice 62-63 Bonniville station wagon sittin under a tree. I might have to risk knocking on a door for that one.
