never had anything in stock when i used to go to the fife store.sounds like everyone got tired of paying too much for "offshore parts". i knew one of the guys that worked at the fife store and their markup was very generous. used to piss me off when they would say they were the only one that could get the part and stand in silence when i would show up with part and invoice for 25% less for exact part right down to part # and "white box".

Doesnt break my heart in the least, I was an idiot and gave em a second chance after it took them 2 months to un-fark the first order....second time went as smoothly as the first, backorder city with no notification....when I finally called them (after inquiring via e-mail multiple times with all the proper info) I got, "well its on back order, we have to wait until we have a large enough order to place from the manufacture before it can be ordered....but you can cancel this order and order it from somewhere else." they informed me it'll be two more weeks, I figured, well I'm already commited and held out (figuring it would be approx two weeks elsewhere) a month later I got the SAME exact run around....I spoke to the manager he had them drop shipped from the factory...after I spoke to the manager I had the parts I originally ordered in three days....that total transaction took 2.5 months....

If thats any indication as to how they did business, its no wonder they closed their doors...I know I'm only one person....but its kinda like a roach....if you see one, theres a hundred...and its a fairly small market.

I've scince switched to Kikin street rods for just about anything and kept to the alliance vendors exclusivly and havnt had one iota of a problem...
