    Hey Denise....

It was great finally meeting you. I really had a whale of a good time this weekend, looks like you did too. Mug and Bun was Fun:rolleyes:(sorry, had to do that).

I allways looked forward to your pics and stories, and thought to myself "damn....thats a lot of work". Thank you for all that you do. On the other hand, this should not feel like a job, and when it does, take a break. Have fun doing the other things in your life.

P.S., wish I was going the Cinematic to hang out again, but plans fell through...you'll have to get along without me.

    Take care!

Hey Denise, I understand exactly what you're talking about, and you're right to slow down and take it all in. Your adventures are always a highlight , that's why I came up and started talking to you at RRR in the first place., just to thank you for sharing. I just joined up because of you and glad to be able to call you a friend. Problem is, you've spoiled us all!! Ex-lurker/stalker/whatever, Rick

It's funny, I was sort of thinking the same thing. I wondered as I began your thread by saying, "Why don't I take more pictures?" And I followed up by saying that if I spend all my time taking pictures then I may miss something going on. I know I can speak for the rest of us by saying, we are going to miss these threads but you have to make the most out of life and if that means cutting a few things. The So Be It!! This should be a wake up call for us to get our ***es to these shows like you do and become a part of life in stead of waiting for someone elses to be displayed a couple days later. Thank you for all that you do here, and now hang that tree swing damn-it!

Come on Denise, you haven't got enough hours in the day? There's only one thing to do, quit your pesky day job. It's just gettin' in the way of the fun stuff anyway! ;)

Seriously, we love your posts and look forward to 'em, but you need to make your own time too.

Hope to see you at the Goodguys in Bowling Green.

Great coverage as usual. Thank you so much. I certainly understand your decision. The ones you do post will be all the better when we do get to read one. It should also be a call out to some others out there to pick up the slack and post some of their own pictoral coverages. Most of us will not be in the same catagory, and we should not try to compare, but just be ourselves.

    Your the best,

    J.

Another great report....and for not liking to write, you do a great job. Definately a highlite of the HAMB for me.

After seeing first-hand on the Bonneville trip how much time and effort you put in on the travelogs, I understand and agree with you curtailing them and live a little. Time for some of the others to step up and try their hand at the reports...........If I may though, I'll put in a request for a few snippets from the B-ville trip this year.:D

If it ain't a downpour tomorrow, burgers at the Sidetrack.

I'm leaving after work tomorrow and heading to Megan's house for a PJ party then in the morning were heading to the Cinematic. You are more then welcome to join us. I can swing over and pick you up.:D You're one of the pals I want to spend more time with. How about a pizza on Tuesday night and lets ride the go-cart.

I have notcied more and more event coverage with folks using Photobucket and telling a story along with the photos. That's a good thing for everyone involved and when "we" read event coverage or a tech post that someone puit alot of time and effort into "we" have to remember to show our appreciation for their time and effort and perhaps more good posts will rise and stay at the top longer and the drama filled ones will sink. (I know I'm no saint when it comes to making stupid comments on drama threads:rolleyes: )

Besides, this leaves me more time to "properly" answer your wonderful PM's;)

You will and I'm really looking forward to seeing both you and your lovely wife again.

I will probably take the same amount of photos, I've always been a shutter bug ever since I was a small child. I'm just going to be more selective on which events I post coverage on.

and here I thought it was just to get in my drawers:eek::p:D

It's going to be tough but we'll muddle though I'm sure. See you in Columbus right?

WOW, another lurker that intro's and participates after the Road Rocket Rumble. Glad to see ya here sweetie! You're going to the HAMB Drags right??

    Thanks Phil, means alot.

Trust me when I tell you that was a once in a lifetime event.;)

Your road trips are always well photographed and they're written/scripted like a story book. You should be commended for your dedication to this site.......

Denise, thank you for the amazing coverage. It was great to meet you, although briefly. My "motley crew" and I are quite the shutterbugs as well and do***ent our adventures all the time. Here's another quote I love "It's not the days in your life, but the life in your days". Take time out for friends and family, s****book, have a BBQ, go plant some flowers! Thanks again, I really enjoyed it.

I always appreciate the coverage you do, it takes me forever to write a small post, let alone a full pictorial. You deserve a break. You are always welcome to post only pictures of me looking superduper cool, if you'd like, it would help cut down on the work. :)

It was nice meeting you at the show, when you said you would post a coverage on the show here I never imagined this much. What you wrote here would of takin me two weeks to do. You nned to have time for yourself, or you could get a job with a magizine.......lol

Went to Babba's lastnight for Hotrod night and got talking to a guy and he is interested in the vette, going to check out what he has to trade this weekend.

It was nice hangin with you and hopefully we can do it again sometime..

Thanks for the great coverage Thelma. Don't worry, we'll be together at least the next 2 weekends! :D

I support your decision to take more time to do the 'little' things in life we too often overlook. I know firsthand how much time and effort these adventure threads take!

Another great adventure post as usual.
I am sure we all understand your shift in priorities, and while they will be missed, I am just as happy to see you do what is right for YOU.
    See you on the salt.

Excellent event coverage as always.I fully understand your thinking about other things in life. You have to do what YOU want to do_Of course,we'll miss your in-depth stories.Have fun doing whatever it is you wish to do,even if it means just sitting back and just relaxing.I live in the country, and after my work is finished in the garage at night,I pull up a lawn chair and just listen to the quiet.I love it,and am thankful that I have the opportunity to experience it.You only have one life---enjoy it.:)

you do a hell of a job with the pics and editing that you do, you are a insperation to alot of us and i want to thank you for getting me back into the hot rod scene

looked like you had a blast down their and you need to find the guy that spilled his drink on big olds and give him a cleaning bill -- he he

but i know how you feel bout missing things and friends, i used to play alot of americas army online and i needed to take a break for a bit for the same reasons and one of my good friends in the uk told me take care of your family first and the on line family will always be here for ya.

so i take a break for awhile, go back and forth --ya know what i mean --

happy motoring to cinamatic and i am going to try and get to columbus if not i might go to norwalk for the gg show

Here I was, thinking about a "everything in moderation" post, and you guys are booked for the next three weekends? Outside lookin' in, your maximizing your time investment. Fella once told me,"life goes in cycles, it's up to you to ride it". Sincere thanx for your post and coverage.
