I am looking to design my 1963 Chevy C-10 after a mid 60s push truck. Anyone have pics of any of these?

Do a search for push cars. It was up a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure how to drop the link.

Let's face it - most pushers were just the tow vehicle with a big plank of wood across the bumper, like the Ranchero above. Sure, some dudes went all out with crazy ****, but the majority were nothing special. Many times there were the cat's daily driver also.

  14. A little low, but basically stock. Maybe the numbers of the drag car on the back window, or the car name/team name/shop name on the doors. Cut a 2x12 to about 24", paint it black, wrap it in rope, or staple carpet to it, bolt it on the bumper.

I appreciate all of the responses. Didn't search for the other thread before I posted...I will do that next time. I think that I have a plan and pretty much everything that I need is within arms reach! I look forward to posting pics of it soon. Now I just need to work on getting the drag car to go with the truck!

Sometimes the search thing ****s. Just ask like you did and somebody will come up with the old thread. And when you ask it seams to bring out more new info.
A couple guys may ***** at you but, with you bein' a FNG they will get over it.

Now that is one sweet truck, I think the stance and wheel/tire combo are very close to what I'm going for.
