I am looking to design my 1963 Chevy C-10 after a mid 60s push truck. Anyone have pics of any of these?

Do a search for push cars. It was up a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure how to drop the link.

  13. Let's face it - most pushers were just the tow vehicle with a big plank of wood across the bumper, like the Ranchero above. Sure, some dudes went all out with crazy shit, but the majority were nothing special. Many times there were the cat's daily driver also.

A little low, but basically stock. Maybe the numbers of the drag car on the back window, or the car name/team name/shop name on the doors. Cut a 2x12 to about 24", paint it black, wrap it in rope, or staple carpet to it, bolt it on the bumper.

I appreciate all of the responses. Didn't search for the other thread before I posted...I will do that next time. I think that I have a plan and pretty much everything that I need is within arms reach! I look forward to posting pics of it soon. Now I just need to work on getting the drag car to go with the truck!

Sometimes the search thing sucks. Just ask like you did and somebody will come up with the old thread. And when you ask it seams to bring out more new info.
A couple guys may bitch at you but, with you bein' a FNG they will get over it.

Now that is one sweet truck, I think the stance and wheel/tire combo are very close to what I'm going for.
