I got a call from a buddy to meet him out in the sticks and take a barn/garage tour last Saturday. We met up near Hell and cruised the back roads to the collector's farm. A nice mid-1800's Victorian on top of a hill with the barn off to the side. Introductions and small talk got us to the side door of the barn where a 29 Lincoln dual-cowl phaeton rests with its back to the door. "It was Errol Flynn's car" the collector says. Well we started off with a bang, and it got better with each step. Unfortunately, most of the cars were covered or buried in other collectibles, but I got pictures of some. We wandered the barn and fields out back slobbering on about 50 cars and countless antiques like cuckoo clocks, pianos, oil and Tiffany lamps, Lionel trains and furniture. After about 3 hours of exploring, the collector says:"All the cars are for sale". OMG!. I have to post the list and give you guys and gals a chance to pick up some very cool tin! Here goes... 25 T Paddywagon from Chicago police 29 Lincoln dual-cowl phaeton 29 Cadillac 30 Model A Town Sedan 19 Olds V8 7 p***enger 29 Chrysler 51 Buick sedan 68 Buick Electra conv. 14 T roadster pickup 26 T roadster pickup 31 Model A RS roadster w/dual sidemounts an O/T VW powered sand rail 22 T Tudor 31 Model A coupe 42 Lincoln Continental conv 1920 handbuilt camper that folds flat onto a trailer. I couldn't post this in the ads as I have no prices. If you see something you want, send me your email and I will send the ****py pictures I have. Or call ARNIE direct at 734-417-5224 and work a deal...I'll post a couple of pictures after I resize them. What a day!! Dan

It's funny I just heard Arnie, aka the Widow Chaser, was putting everything up for sale yesterday. I'm suprised he's selling. He know what the stuff is worth and I doubt there are going to be any bargains.
Humm near chelsea .. I didnt even know this existed. I live in jackson work in dexter and used to live in dexter and chelsea.. Im may have to call and go look. Dave
i hope he isnt the type of guy to get bent when people are just coming to drool..At this point ive got enough on my plate, so chances of me buying anything are slim, (unless he has parts i need)..but collections and auto history are cool to look at and im sure my daughter would flip to see some of this stuff so close to home before it goes Bye Bye
Dan, Do you know where he got the 2 tone green 31 coupe from? That looks exactly like one we had in our family up until about 10 years ago! Harold
This is really amazing,..... unfortunately I am a few cars over the limit right now, so I can't do any shopping,...
Has anyone spoken to Arnie? I am curious about your first impressions and if he is easy to deal with, or did I waste everyone's time with this post... Dan
I really want to call him and see whats up but ive been busy with other stuff and it just hasnt happened yet. My fault and id like to see whats for sale and at what kind of prices but just when you think you have time................? Dave
