Santa Cruz Woodies puts on the famous "Woodies on the Wharf" each year in June. This event draws over 200 woodies from all over. I was over there on Saturday for some business, so dropped in for a quick look round...I had never been before, won't be missing it again! Check out the rest HERE
That's cool. Too bad we don't have something like this in the Midwest. Doesn't Santa Barbara have a similar "Woodies on the Wharf" in August? I remeber being there for a training cl*** that happened to fall on the same weekend. I had the same response.
Thanks for the pictures. We didn't get any pictures of the purple Plymouth? Sawzall when are you going to post some pictures of your project?
A100 ITS ABOUT TIME.. GOT A FEW MORE SMALL JOBS TO FINISH.. THEN i CAN GET AFTER IT.. FOR NOW.. Just lookie here: http://recycled40fordwoodie.blogspot.com/
Same reason as we couldn't find my wife's friends parents...they were there with their "Red Ford...." I shot what I could in the hour or so I had to spend at the show, I was on my way to work!
good show. I got some pics at home.. I'll post if I can tonight. seems like every other car was a 46-48 ford and every 3rd car was a 49- 51 ford. once again... no 49 chevy woodies, though there was a 50 "steelie" which was nice. when I got home I realized I had missed the Palo Alto councours... oh well
I commented on the huge amount of 49 thru 51 Fords to my wife, hell, I even gave her a lesson on distinguishing between them from the grill's as there were one of each parked in a row for ease of illustration
"IF YOUR CONFUSED...I'LL USE smaller WORDS" That signature is ironic as you used the wrong form of the word. "You're"...not "your" would be correct.
Bump it back to the top with a gaggle of pics I got emailed from the woodie board. http://rides.webshots.com/album/563952566ojdPdw OT: Sazall, I went to your blog Help me now, I'm really having trouble picturing an Amish sandblaster. How do they power the thing?
