Hey, guys, can anyone with Chevy truck experience please help me with these mounts? I don't have anything to reference them with. Are they even the correct ones? Obviously they've been moved, but how far off are they? TIA.

Tell me about it. :( I'm thinking that I may just be better off getting an S-10 frame.

    Ask and ye shall receive.

The mounts look very similer but only have two holes, the ouside ones
and are rivoted on to the frame.

Thanks, I think I see the original holes. How was the sheetmetal attached to the mounts? Bolt and a nut?

Well it was not what I was looking for but if you see the original holes the sheet metal will attach with bolts I think they are 3/8 bolts.

This is a 55 frame that I keep around for reference points. Hope it helps you.

Thanks. It's looking more and more like I need to just get a new frame. Compared to yours, mine looks pretty tweaked. :( You don't happen to have any pictures of how the fenders attached, do you? The PO just left the doghouse sitting on the mounts.

I think you can save it just need the distance from the end of the frame to the mount pad and either weld them looks like they have tried or just bolt them in. It mite not look Fancy but it well work that is what it is all about right.

The u shape the radiator mounts in is what is bolted to the mounts
and the fenders bolt to that once the fenders and grill are ***embled.
Even as ugly as your mounts look if they are lined up and your radiator
mount bolts up, it just has to hold the weight of the fender grill hood
***embly. 1955-57 mounts are different them 58-59 but can be made
    to work.

Can anyone help with the rubber cab mounts. I have a replacement kit and no instructions. The ones I have on there now are jacked-up, a bunch of made up stuff bolted in place of rubber and shims.
