I'm looking for some shows or even some good cruise nights to go to in Michigan in July. I'm hoping to find some possible feature cars to shoot for Rod & Kulture. I don't have any big shows to go to this month at all. Any help would be cool. Hell if you know someone with a feature worthy traditional car in Michigan let me know, maybe post a pic for me. I'm trying to find some cool cars that havn't been featured before. Thanks
What about the show at MIS (Michigan International Speedway) in Brooklyn on July 19th. I understand they may have as many as 3,000 cars.

Wed. night cruise nights at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, just north of Kalamazoo, is always well attended, and a variety of neat old cars. Rods, Kustoms, resto's, muscle cars, bikes, the whole spectrum. Probably stuff that's never been photographed, and always some "traditional" style stuff.
Cruise night at Mr Quick's burger place on M-46 (Apple Ave.) just west of Wolf Lake Road. Take I-96 to Nunica exit. Go North to M-46, turn left on M-46 Nd then left just past the next traffic light. Starts around 6-ish. Let me know what night and I'll meet ya there or at my place - I'll give ya the nickle tour and a free beer, pop or water. Charlie
You do know about Frankenmuth, right? And thre's a show in late summer in Capac, put on by Carl Schultz that usually draws around 6-800 cars. Let me know if you want info and i can get the date.

On the 3rd saturday of each month, the A&W in Flushing (just west of Flint) has a rather large cruise night. usually attracts a couple hundred cars, all 1972 or older. The club that puts on the cruise, have quite a few cool old lead sleds, and there are alot of hot rods that attend. the next one is on the 19th of July. -Joe
