A bunch of us are going to make the Wed night cruise at Bob's tonight. This Big Boy belongs to the guy who is saving the Harvey's Broiler. So, we're gonna show him that we, in the Downey, Long Beach, Bellflower, Lakewood area will support his cruise night. I'm pretty sure this is put on by Cyclone Kevin. Join us, if ya can. I just read this post. The cruise is put on by Jim's friend, Vinnie who is a older rodder and owns a shop on Hawthorne,but he is been kind of ill lately, so I have just putting the word out. You've changed my plans for this evening so I will jump in the driver & shoot on over to Torrance, Jim has an update on the Broiler.

Small turn out last night. Maybe 5 cars other than the 5 the Vipers drove. I had a Big Boy Combo. The Vipes enjoyed it. Thanks go to Jim for keeping the REAL taste of Southern California alive. I can't wait to park at the restored Harvey's (soon to be Big Boy's) Broiler. It's a big reason to get my Olds in shiny paint.
It's a lot harder to see Chili Phil in person that Jay Leno but the're both good guys and deserve all the 'seein' they can get! Hey I'd see em both if I wasn't so far away!
We have Save the Broiler shirts as well as Ghost Cruise shirts-can't tell you what sizes are in stock as Burny has the shirts. http://astroluxe.org/harveys/Index.htm We will be working on the Bob's Broiler shirts when the buildings design is ok'd with the city and it can be released to the public. Jim is a great guy and wanted to go over and say thanks to the Vipers who drove on out,He was sorry that he missed you guys take off. I had an 80 mi. round trip and it went smoothy even @ rush hour . The Broiler is a whole different animal than Torrance. Alot of people keep asking me when it will be ready for cruising, We are hopeful that it may be ready by Dec.(you wouldn't know that by looking at it right now). So stay tuned and we'll keep you updated. Thanks for showing up to all that did.
