  2. if you are meaning pre 64? yeah right here , if you are asking "Is there a HAMB equivalent? " the answer would be the H.A.M.B. has no equal..

    It's 1964 and older.

In the cl***ifieds we have allowed some 65 stuff to be sold if there was no body style change from 64 to 65.

Cool of you to ask. But I don't have a good answer.

  8. A lot of us are building 60s or 60s style cars.

AMC Four doors were never anything you seen "hopped up" during the muscle car years. Normally grandmas were driving them. Welcome to the Hamb. I work in Wadsworth.

That garage has definite potential. He knows how to stuff the essentials in there. I think this guy could eventually see the light and be a HAMBer:D:cool:;)

Then why does Ryan say 65 and below. He has staed it a few times due to the fact that he loves 65 Rivieras and Chevy's ????

corncobcoupe....Just to be sure I found this quote from Ryan 6/26/08 on the " Pics of Kelly Chadwicks Chevelle " Thread
" We are actually 65 and below...mostly because one of my favorite cars is a 65 Riv, but I have to admit an affinity to the 65 Imp too... " Maybe the cl***ified is different ? either way a lot of 65 cars are pretty much the same as 64's. Chevells, Fairlanes etc...

The sheet metal varies from 62 to 65 but they are all pretty much the same cars. No where near " completely different " In 66 things changed....

Thanks for the anwers... I wanted to make sure that if I started contributing I wouldn't get shunned.

Yeah I know it's a grandma car. Four doors, bench seats, grandma aqua metallic, but it is what is inside that counts right? Offy cross ram breathing out of through hood.

My home is Wadsworth, Oh... - That's my dad's garage. I moved to Danville, Ky a year ago... Time to update that profile.

A '65 Rivi is nice, but the real deal is the '65 Wildcat! ;) Imagine one of those original 4 speeds...

Cool. I'm not too far from you, just about 40 miles south of Somerset. Speaking of Somerset, you have been going to their car show they have every 4th weekend of the month, right?

Somerset... Nope haven't been to that one yet. I heard rumors of it but didn't know anything about it. I'll be at the next one.

There's a show July 5th in Danville, ky called the Dillehay hullaballoo. I'll be there for that.

I'll remind Ryan of the original cutoff dates for the cl***ifieds.

We mods have worked long and hard to keep it clean and not open the door to 65's.

64 and older unless the sheetmetal did not change in 65.

It's been like that for years so don't think 65's are a go if the sheetmetal is different than 64.

    Bank on it.

Cl***ifieds cut off has always been 64 and below... We allow some '65 cars if they share a pre-64 body style.

Hey guys I thought I should ask if I'm ok to be a hamber w/ a 66IMP ? oh did I say cnovertible too? I got skills & a notion to be a car guy / hotrodder. If I'm out of place here cause I don't got a duce or an A let me know & I'll split. I thought rodding was partly the car & partly the guy doing the work himself cuase he doesn't have the dough to pay someone. I'm doing all the **** myself & trying hard to get it right just got done w/ my own dual exhaust hand cut & welded, mandrel bends and all. TIG welded to boot ,you guys know were else this kind of sick ******* would be accepted.

Oh, you definitely gotta go to that, it's big. Probably not as big this year as before because of gas, but they've always got a ton of cars there. Every 4th Friday and Saturday of the month, but Saturday is the main day.

I think working on early 60's cars is good training for the move to 50's and earlier. The older they get the simpler, but more rusty and stubborn.
