Dropped Uprights

    What are the best options for lowering a 1949 chevy front suspension? Stock. I have seen dropped uprights, but have heard they can be ****...... Dropped spindles, or is this only with a mustang II type front end? I may, in addition, Cut the front springs?

  3. i have a 50 chevy sedan . used dropped uprights and steering arms from fatman. cut one coil out drives and rides good
     
  4. You can get your uprights modified by Buffalo ent. for alot less money than the ones from fatman. Also you can run 54 steering arms which are 5/8" lower than yours. They are not to hard to find either.
