No, I'm sure they just painted it that color so they could scuff it & shoot it flat black once they got it rubbed out. Damn. JH
yes we are.i still have some work to do before i want to post some pictures.it is soo nice to be able to set up my part of the shop the way that fits what i need.this new complex has four seperate work rooms,and a show room.when we get all setup our plan is to have an open house. i'll keep the HAMB posted. -danny
Hot Rod Joe Thanks for asking. Yes it is an orginal body and the body has had a lot of panels from other ford bodys installed in it. The wheel wells are from a 5 window, right behind the doors it has had panels installed at the bottom of the body, we rebuilt the upper quarters for the wood ends. I wish that i could have gotten a better body but at the time thats all I could fined and could afford. we also replaced the floor but I knew that I would have to do that because of the QC. We also reworked the backs of the wheel wells to make them look like roadster wheel wells. Then Sean (OHR281) worked his magic and made the JUNK body look GREAT.
Awesome! Do you have any pictures of it before all of the work was done? I love to see what people start with, and all of the hardwork that goes into making it what it is now.
i wish my 34 pick up was in that beautiful of a shape , the cab is like a cheese grator in spots , nice start of a ride
