Yea I think it needs some supremes on it also we have been kicking that idea around. I just dont want to rush the wheels it can make or break a project

I agree with the need for some shiney wheels like astro supremes, chrome o.e. wheels, or even chrome smoothies with bullet caps.

Yea the boss lady saw some chrome smoothies and said I should get those because they are half the money of a set of supremes now lol

Are you staying at HRW through Sunday night? My band's playing the main stage sometime that evening (not sure what the sched is yet, but we'll be there!). We have another gig on Saturday so will miss the car show again this year. :-( Safe travels and have a great time at HRW!

I could see the spider caps, I think redline tires would look cool.

But even as it sits I like it, Corvans are cool. Is this considered a Greenbriar?

Well from all the knowledge I have gained in the two months I have owned it lol. The greenbriars had side windows like p***enger vans and this one is a corvair 95(thats at least what all the chrome thats in the glovebox says lol) they also made a pickup called a rampside

SO it looks like a few of us will be heading out for this little shin dig. Do we all want to meet up and put faces with names while were there?

I talked to my painter about the color on the van since so many people asked and this is what he used:

I took a PPG 2008 KIA Color and mixed a little HOK KBC05 and HOK BC04 Mixed in to make it POP. I think it turned out alright?

    Damn man, damn.

    That rocks...!

At least you didn't wind up with a turd engine like mine is.

I could use a good set of 80 or 95 heads for any lurker/Vair nuts out there...

    Here's mine, a Greenbrier "Standard".

All Corvair vans are 95's. It's because they are all 95" wheelbase...

I dropped it off with Jimm at three R's upholstery in greenville monday to get the front seat and headliner done in diner seat material we should have it back the first part of next week with completed interior shots

It also won best truck at Heavy Rebel Weekend at its debut. Then when I was driving it back to Florida I had a blow out on the drivers side front and damaged the rocker a little. I guess if you are going to drive them stuff happens
