Hey Dennis, great idea...little late to go this year but a road trip next year would be cool...I used to see your car at the Mich and Ohio KKOA events you put a ton of miles on your cars..I really miss the mid west Kustom events...So Cal is cool but nothing beats a Kustom only event!!!!!

Geez. Lighten up guy. There's plenty of reason to get out of California, too.
Believe me I know, been here all my life. Isn't all bikinis and beaches.
Just having a little fun last night, thats all.
    Anyways have a good event.

Mazooma....I hard ever take anything as a serious put down on here my friend.....I forget in my replies that the person reading them can't always hear the sarcasm in my voice......so all is cool.....
Alright then..... we got some serious players coming to this show!...... I can't wait til the end of July and just wanted to let yall know that you're welcome to stop by the tattoo shop and head up to salina with us Thursday night. we're thinking about cookin some dogs and brats out back before we head north.....
I gotta tell ya...... Salina isn't the koolest place on earth to have a carshow......it doesn't have the music and restarants that Austin has, and it doesn't have the great weather like sunny SoCal has........most of the time the entertainment at this show isn't that great either........
so what does this show have you ask?.......for some reason, the relatively new location in Salina, being centrally located, has started to draw a big amount of people that are there for the love of the kustom......sure, there are the annoying late models and the occasional billet street rod, but there is a history with this show ........the KKOA, for those who don't know, or are new to the scene, is the organization that, at least in my eyes, kickstarted and brought back to life, a dying breed called the kustom...... without all the distractions and showbiz and traffic and corporate sponsorship, this show is about the people and the kustoms......it's a throwback and sometimes a little 'hayseed' or hillbilly, but there are more than a few of us that find that makes for a comfortable and laid back atmosphere.......
off my soapbox for now........I just wanted to talk a little **** and see how many of my friends I could get to come to Kansas.........

way to go Dennis I thought we said we were going to tell everyone how bad it ****s in kansas, so everyone wouldn't come out and see how kool it really is and want to move here. And drive up all our house prices and buy up all the old tin setting just beyond the hill. we've got it made in kansas, and most of our women are real, not petrolium based.

I think it is about 1200 miles or so to KC from Houston/Austin.
