I too love the De Moines fairgrounds! I worked this show a few times when I worked at RB's. It's one of my favorites for sure! Thank you for posting the pics. Looks like a good quality of cars showed.

 

The little Rambler car looks like it could kick some ass.

The engine is in the bed. Not sure what's up with the vent hose, ram air maybe? Bet it handles pretty sweet.

Thanks for the pictures, and sorry I got to the meet and greet late for picture but 27 T got several pictures of me behind the 53 so if anyone is good with photo shop cut me out of that and insert in with group. That way Bob K wouldn't be the only old grey headed good looking guy in picture. Hope everyone made it home OK and looking forward to Salina, KS.

the green '32 roadster was sex.

 

This car is AMAZING. My buddy was asking about the embossed ford detail plate on the back and I didn't have an answer other than it looked added in if you squinted really really really hard and I didn't recognize it.

My favorite car of the day was a red hot rod with an early marine hemi, the owner made my day with his enthusiam for an original 60s hotrod. He could be a Hamber, heck he could even be 27T for all I know. Great weekend for it
