Need pics of tan cars.

I just bought a 62 Falcon and I'm tryin to get paint ideas. It's three dirrefent colors of brown, gold, and tan. The interior is tan I want to stay with the nutral colors. So what I was thinkin was a tan body with rootbeer flake top. I can't find any pics just yet. Any help??

 

nobody will have any pics because it is the ugliest color combo ever............ just scuff it down and go wild , if ya were a true wichita boy it would have to be wild anyway !!! GET TA WORK !!!! OH ps love ya sprout !!!

 

You can paint it any wild color you want as long as its a free paint job.

Beige! it's Beige! I love the color but it's hard to find the right one. This is "Turkey turd tan". My buddy named it. I bought a gallon of Corvette Buckshin...it was F'n yellow. A few weeks later they had a gallon of mud brown on the OOPs shelf. Paint was cheap back then. We mixed the two gallons together and got Turkey turd tan. I was going to use that late 40s Ford color as above because I saw it on the car at a show and liked it. I chased the guy across the parking lot only to find out it was the original color.

Whatever you do don't buy paint from a chip in a book or on a computer. Find something you like on a car in the parking lot. That is where you want the color to be right.
