Well i made it down to gg heartland nats and had a good time, butt it didnt start out that way! I took off thursday night in my 32 fivewindow, looking forward to good trip, everthing was going great until about an hour into the trip, my 32 started surging real bad, like it was out of gas, so i pulled over and looked it over and found nothing took off with the intent of turning around at the next exit and trying to make it home, made it to the ramp and hit the brakes and had a little smoke under the dash! there goes the fuse and a small chunk of wire! now i knew it was time to bring it home. so i headed home, it surged a couple of more times but i made it back with no brake lights. i was disapointed but figured id still better head down, so i got my green 69 chevelle wagon ready for the road, threw all my crap in that then took off.so i finally showed up in des moines around 1:30 friday morning, and slept in the back of my wagon that night. I had been thinking about selling my wagon so i figured what the hell, put a sign in it, i did and had a few people looking at it, than a guy called me and wanted to talk about it a little more. i we talked and struck up a deal, the wagon was sold! Now i got some cash burning a hole in my pocked but i have a 32 tudor scoped out that i think im gonna buy, stay tuned for possible pics!! So i learnd that good things can come of bad things everyonce in a while!

Wish I coulda met up with you Titus but I only attended on Saturday... The question needs to be asked............. How the hell did you eventually get home after selling your car?
He gave me a large downer to hold the wagon for him, then hes gonna drive up and get it, so thats how i got home!, plus i had about 10 friends that also attended so it wouldnt have been a major problem to make it home! i did find the short in my wiring, it managed to fall onto hot exhaust! it wont happen again! abd figured out that the new gas cap i put on wasnt vented so my fuel line was sucking shut! Itll be back on the road tuesday so i guess next year itl make it down.
I did a large downer once but it didn't help me sell a car, although I did sleep for a day and a half. Congrats on the sale.
