What ever happened to the A coupe that was featured on American Hotrod buildoff between Bluebear's A and Boyd's T? Did this car ever surface?

Well, I think when Bluebear's "A" is finished we will hear about it since he works or worked at Circle City Hot Rods. And we all know what they are capable of so I am sure it's pretty bad ***.

    IMHO,.....

I thought that kid was arrogant and really full of himself,..... and I really don't care what happened to that coupe,..... hopefully some cool kid will get it and finish it,.... sorry about the negative tone, but that kid rubbed me the wrong way.

First thing I thought of was exactly what roddinron said. Unless he has a lot of help, I suspect the answer is, "not much".

I don't know man,.... if it was, than he deserves a Oscar and should look seriously at acting as a occupation,.... cause he played a punk really well.
Yep, the most believable performance from a Shop Rat that I have ever seen. again IMO

It was complete and utter ********! Boyd offered to pay for every part that he needed AND pay his hourly wage while he worked on his own car. Then he even paid the other guys wages that was on his "build team". What more could someone ask for??? Professional help and get paid to do with no parts cost??!!! WOW!!!

That kid needs to be kicked in the *** so hard he wouldn't be able to ever sit down again. What an arrogant little *****! Why couldn't one of us get that opportunity? I know if I were put in that situation that frame woulda been boxed right away without a negative word said. Boyd was unjustly put down for that I felt sorry for him. He was trying to give the kid the opportunity of a lifetime and he just pissed it away.

I wasn't there or in the editing room, so it's hard for me to take sides. I do know that Jimmy White doesn't seem the type to hire someone unless he was confident in their skills, but all I know is what I see on my TV screen.

Sometime back Boyd fessed up in print that the whole show was mostly BS, all the arguments, personal ****-ola, etc. all dreamed up by the writers. Isn't there a HAMBer that knows what it was REALLY like working there. Gary

Now THAT doesn't exactly come as a blinding revelation. I met someone who had actually met the kid in Boyd's, reckons he was nothing like the 'reality trash tv' show portrayed, but was actually a real smart and skilled young guy.

As with most of the 'reality based' tv shows, they portray anything BUT reality.

The T.V. thing is B.S. Blue Bear is a good kid with more skills than most. He no longer works in the hot rod industry. His hot rod probably wont be done for a long time.
