HI All you old time Rodders: Tim Ryan, sometimes known as "The Cranktwister" Started out in 1952 with a 1947 Chevy Coupe. Next came a '32 - 5 window coupe pink with a mild flat motor. A change in cam, new set of Edelbrock heads, new iskenderian cam, and a new Edelbrock 4 bbl intake with Carter carb and a few more internal modifications completed the engine. Next a 27 tooth Lincoln transmission for a 5 dollar bill from the local salvage yard. After all of the other modifications the Pink had to go.In a marathon painting session with Ray Erickson that began on Friday evening and lasted until Sunday night late. I have no idea now how many coats of paint we shot on Ray's '34 coupe (Turquoise) or my '32 five window coupe (55 Cadillac Copper Metalic). We belonged to the Cranktwisters and the KCTA it was a great time. More later!!
