Got a Sweet little letter in the mail Friday!!! It was short but sweet!!!!! It says Dear Rob and Debb: We are pleased to announce that your 1954 Lincoln Capri will be featured in the 2009 Snap-On-Calendar!!!!! I just had to tell and share with my friends How cool!!!!!!!!! Beats a magazine anyday

It's a car that SHOULD be used in a calender ,very nice kustom.Is Snap-on calender the one that shows a **** woman next to the cars? Enjoy---Bill

The little sticky back stick on your toolbox ones or a fullsize calender? I'll have to hound my Snap-On guy for one!
Thanks Bill, but no women in this one LOL, think they had to stop that Vicki, thanks we had to meet their strict requirements. I filled out an application in jan, I have hundreds of photos of the lincoln but only about 2 met their actual requirements. No background objects, 3/4 shot, no photoshop, high resolution and some other stuff. "Ron" from the HAMB had shot the car for Kustoms Illustrated a while back, I sent that shot in from him and also another that I had taken when "HHRMJohn" was shooting it for Home Town Hot Rod mag. we have known for about 3 mos that we were in the finals. but just got the final conformation fri. I am not even sure which picture they have chosen to use!!!! Being in the middle of jan I couldn't really take it out to get an others. I sure hope its not in the little stick on one I am pretty sure it is the large one. They said we would get ours in the mail on or before 10/31 so if your interested I guess thats about when they will be available. Thanks so much for all the kind words and congratulations everyone!!! I think its so cool I still can't believe we made that cut. There had to be LOTS of entries!! were not sure if each car gets a month or if there are several on one month?
sweet My neighbor is a Snap On dealer so ill see if i can get a huge stash of them and post them on here for who ever wants them. Congrats for making the calender i cant wait to get mine!!!
