Try PC7 Its a two part heavy bodied epoxy that I've never seen fail. I use the hell out of it for nearly everything!

3M weatherstrip adhesive works good for a fuzzy type fabric to metal or is there metal to metal contact here? Than I would use a fusor brand metal adhevive.

  5. There is an incredible adhesive/sealer that very few people are aware of . It is used most often in the boat business which is how I became aware of it during my tenure in boat repair . It is 3M 5200 . It is a type of caulk but has adhesive ability like nothing you've ever experienced I can ***ure you . Best of all it remains flexible and is there fore unaffected by vibration , impact , or torsion . It takes more time to set up than normal caulk or adhesives but the results are worth it . Home Depot usually stocks it or at last resort a marine hardware store . You could literally put your car together with this stuff , remove all the bolts after set up and wild horses couldn't pull it apart . I used this stuff daily for five years as a shipwright and I'm never without it now .

The 3m 5200 and Sikaflex are both Urethane based adhesives. Great stuff. Go to a good windshield shop.Any Windshield adhesive is similar. Some thicker, some thinner. They should work well if they get minimum 24 hours dry time, and you don't squeeze it all out of the joint area. I sold and used Sikaflex for years.
