    Hey everyone,

Andys hot rod is shaping up quickly, and we are now discovering that we are still needing a few parts to get'r done.

    Brake Hardware
Windshield frame for a 30-31 (i'd buy it if some one wants $$$)
    Rear Shocks
    Master Cylinder
    Flattie rad hoses
    Gas Pedal
    Horn or Wolfs whistle;)

As i remember or get a reminder by Fitzee or Hackerbill.

Thank you for all the support you have shown Andy and look forward to Fitzees updates weekly

    Regards
    Leon House

Can you be a little more specific on some of those parts? MC, brake hardware, etc.

Front brakes...Early Ford (48 style) front shoes, cylinders, flex hoses...

Rear shocks we can measure for tomorrow night...but eyeball engineering says something very basic and "normal" length.

Master cylinder...Drum style dual chamber. We think we need something like a late 60's Mustang unit...but we're open to advice or suggestions as always!

Some kind of spoon style early gas pedal would be perfect or even a suggestion on an easily adaptable late model part that we can convert to look...spoonish? We don't have time to do a long search locally so it would have to be from a very common car!

an AHooGA type horn or something 50's, large style, would be great.
We'd like to leave it exposed...

Engine is out getting put together...tranny is off getting rebuilt. Tomorrow night the rear axle can go to someone for final assembly as well I figure.

We're gonna start to tube out the floor crossmembers tomorrow night...then align the doors and next thing you know...the windows get several inches shorter!

ANOTHER big smile from our little bud ANDY!!!! :D

    Thanks guys and gals...

I have a pair of nearly new rear shocks from an 80's S10. Give me an idea of the length you need and if they will work I will send them.

Leon, if you need them, I have a new pair of Monroes, eye to eye, 14.5" open and 10.5" compressed. I painted them flat black and didn't even get them installed before I found a pair of chromies to put on it. There my "little buddy"'s if you want them. Just holler.

  13. I believe I have a 34 spoon gas pedal - is that what you're looking for? It has the original type hookup - where you use a rod to the carbs? Let me know and if so, I'll look up in the attic of my barn.

    Thanks!

Thanks everyone for stepping up to the plate for Andy. I will see Bill and Andy tommorrow and they will tell me exactly what they need if more than 1 has been offered. We need to use parts that will work easiest on this build as Andy wants to drive his car into a outdoor car show.

We have the most respect for you guys for taking Andy under your wing and as Bill always says "restored faith in mankind".

If shipping is an issue i can have it picked up and flown to me at no cost to you. We just gotta get Andys wheels roll'n

I have a 48 Ford Truck gas pedal linkage set up already boxed, Buyer flaked. Let me know and I will ship it. Also, I am sending the Flying eye ball third brake light that I designed out to get painted. I will send it as soon as it gets back. Let me know what color eye's Andy has and I will have it painted to match. There will only be three of these made by me at least. One for andy, one for my car and one for a Hamb auction.

How 'bout giving us the paypal info again so we can send some ca$h to buy the small stuff like brake fluid, oil/air filters, etc. You know, the stuff that will be more practical for you guys to buy locally than for us to ship there?

    Thanx.

  22. I would love to pay for the M/C via PayPal if possible.

You guys could have the part today instead of having to wait for me to buy it, pack it, and ship it.

I'm pretty sure you guys haven't asked for CASH MONEY for this project...but for those of us that DO NOT have parts to offer...give us an address where we can send a spot or two...or a PayPal address...to help move this car along...

Even tho parts are needed right now...you'll eventually need to purchase anti-freeze, oil, tranny fluid, rear-end grease, gasoline, etc... do they charge to put air in the tires up there in Canada...???

For those who wish to paypal to assist in Andys project......

    The paypal account is

    NORTHWIND@CHEQNET.NET

Paypal is an awsome option as we are going to have to buy a windshield frame and other stuff.
