The season of my whoring myself out all summer has begun! We've streamlined the process a bit this year - follow the link below to sign up. Even if you've volunteered in the past, we do ask that you sign up again. I will be emailing past volunteers with the link. It takes a village to put the show on. We are truly grateful to everyone's help in the past. And it's fun! The Hunnert Car Pileup Needs you, more than ever before! We expect a giant crowd this year and need a little extra help. As always we will issue you a limited edition one year only pileup staff t-shirt! along with a special thank you for those of you that want to commit a portion of your day to the pileup cause. Each Pileup volunteer be ***igned a 2 hour shift at one of the various tasks that we need accomplished that day. So sign up and be a part of the Pileup! Follow the link below to fill out the form, we will contact you with more details closer to the day of the show. If you would like to add something in the Job Preference category or some additional Notes for me ... there are areas provided. Any questions or problems, email catherine@hunnertcarpileup.com http://hunnertcarpileup.com/2008/volunteers/ Thanks!!!!
Wow! 22 signups in just one day! Only 158 left to go Good to see some old friends and some new names. Keep 'em coming! Thanks!
Thanks for tackling this DW. We should have a huge turn out this year after all the positive press last year. And yes, the criteria will be just as tight, if not tighter
BTTT. I'm happy to report we've had 74 people sign up so far. I really do think if we are going to be able to keep it to 2 hr shifts that we will need about 160 volunteers. It really is a fun time, I swear. Many folks on the board can testify! I am hoping to work on the schedule in August this year and knock that off my list of 8,000 things we need to do before Pileup time. We are 93 days and counting. Yikes! So please donate some of your time to a worthy cause. The Pileup is 100% volunteer based. Gracias! Thank you! Merci! **** Hugs!
I talked to you at the RRR, and as promised, I signed up. Look forward to helping out and having a great time!
DW, you can count on all the Vagabonds in that attend. I know for a fact IL and WI will be represented not sure about the other chapters. Last year we had a great time parking cars on the first shift and playing with the flags. The time flew by. And the volunteer party was amazing.
I just signed up again, looking forward to all of the nonsense watching the Vagabonds with their flags. BB
Just signed up again, forgot last year. I'll be there early Friday again to start hangin' banners.....uh, where are the banners? 93 days....you can't be serious!!!!
We will be there. I'll have a complete list of memebers and "freinds of the club" that will be ready to work again this year as it gets closer.........
I'd volunteer, but I've tried 5 times to get to the Pileup and haven't made it yet. I'm planning to get there this year, but I've said that before.
That's all right Big A - you just focus on gettin' your *** down here and the collective we will take care of the fun. Hope to see ya!
And just because I feel the need to share this with you guys. In my attempt to do no work at all day I managed to learn that.... The third Thursday of every April is National High Five Day! How ****ing cool is that? I need to become an active member of the committe.
Kansas' house? or maybe the shop. I have to ask the guys. I got your email - I will figure out the inventory and then talk to Chad and get in touch soon so we can bang this out too.
This year we will get drunk then do the flags or was i drunk already last year. i dunno car shows + gerg = drunk gerg just ask anyone at the RR lol
You know I have your backs guys or in DW's case her front...oh i didn't just type that did I ? Fingers have a mind of their own , oh there is a joke there too ......ah ya I'll volunteer !!!!!!
if there is a **** hug in it for me... I guess I can do it. Sign up boys... its a good time and a great cause. DID I sign up? I don't know for sure... so I dont want to do it again... Lets make this easy as we can on Catherine. She has enough to worry about without wondering if they have enough sober help.
