Well it was a good night. At around 6 Andy showed up with his dad along with Leon and Bill. We chatted it up for a bit and made Chris do some cooking!! Can`t do a chop on a empty stomach. Never took long and next thing we new the top was on the floor. Only after 2 broken zip wheels and one broken hack saw blade, all were broke by Chris of corse! Ruff man on equipment!!We had fun with him and took some pics to prove it. After we had it all chopped up and the roof laid in place it was just too sweet. Andy was having lots of fun. Not long after we have the roof laid on people started to come out of the wood work. Thursday nights here are cruz nights and when word got out on Andy`s chop they were in and out all night. Well then Ray showed up on his Harley, Ray is the guy that painted Andy`s wheels. Ray figure he would bless andy`s car and did a little smoke show. Little!! We cleared out of the shop for about 20 mins. I must say I enjoyed this tonight and I will never forget it. Working on some video. See if I can have something in a bit. Andy took the cool one of Ray burnout Hopefully he will post it. Andy it was a blast tonite. I enjoyed ever minute buddy. Link to picture. You guys seem to having a lot of fun. Maybe Andy should be charging you to work on it. That way he'll have a few bucks to put gas in it when it hits the road Keep the pictures and reports coming. Frank
Man-oooo-man what a great nite! A few hot dogs on the "Q" and a few chuckles and then out with the zip wheels. What a feeling to see Andy with a grin from ear to ear, which quickly changed to a ton of laughing as Bill kept comming with the "take 1-4" signs as Chris destroyed wheels and blades..........maybe fitzee should have hept him on BBQ duty. Andy even put on his "Sellers Equiped" jacket and got in on the action.....The jacket has seen a lot of great projects im sure but i bet Sellers will feel this is by far the most important build the jacket has seen, and it was fitting that it was worn as Andy took the plunge and hacked into the roof. Later a few locals showed up and were blown away by the generosity of you guys, i guess they didnt think this was such a global project...or maybe they are not used to the type of people the HAMB has. But they got one huge eye opener when they saw Andys car and the parts they you guys provided! It even got these guys tossing parts into the build...the rear brakes, a red leather tuck and roll bus seat and a few other things. A couple more body men are now joining the fun and things should progress quickly on the body work end of things. It was a great nite, i hated to leave to send the wife on vacation.... I wish you guys could have been there, it was an electric feeling watching Andy show off his car to his brother and friends and as well his mom when she showed up. Come on Tuesday nite........ Leon

very nice looking chop. looks like you had more fun than I did. We did the same thing on July 4th to a 29 sedan. Lots of fun!!!
