    Some friends and me were moving my 50 Chevy and i grabbed the horn ring by mistake, And broke that sucker off!!! Anybody have an extra?????

    Don't have an extra, but I did the same thing with my 57 Chevy. I just cut the other end off and smoothed off where the top half broke off. ended up looking pretty good:) and alot cheaper than replacing it.:D
     
  3. Many of the better chrome shops can repair the pot metal and rechrome...look new again....I use Pauls Chrome in Penna...........

    is that the full circle or the half circle like 49? I sold a nice 49 ring for 80 bucks on ebay. they are fairly hard to find in good shape since as you found out they are easily broken.

    I thought someone was making a repop but did not see it in chevs of the 40s online catalog.

    I'm not sure if a 50 Buick horn ring is the same....but I have an extra.
