History Shoe Box Pickup??

Interesting concept....I suspect that an artist's rendering looks better that the finished product

 

If I am not mistaken... Utes were fairly common... it has been a while.... but I think I saw a picture of the Shoebox Ute long ago... vague memory though... could be wrong about it...

Toddc and the Aussies got more of those than the states ever did.I don't think they ever made it to the states unless they were privatly shipped over.

 

Yeah I hadnt seen them in those years but notice the steering wheel location.

 

Theres one here in Illinios,, I think it belongs to a hamber too.
