Nice stuff....And good meeting ya 'officially' this morning. We just got in, so will get some stuff posted in a while.
Thanks for posting these 1badnov..I stayed at home and worked on my car so i can possibly make it to Midnight M***.Your wagon looks dope(saw it at Asphalt yesterday)...Looks like i missed a hell of a show
It was good to meet you as well. Thanks, I was shocked that I was able to post pics before you, cause that just don't happen..... Now I now why.
Well you know the old saying.."The early bird catches the worm,But only if the other bird stays home to work on his nest.." Did i say that outloud?
OK...here's a few...and a LINK to the rest...I'm going to bed... HAMB'er "Mikes51" Gotta love the backdrops at Kelley Park
A32, thanks for posting the pic of my heap. Here are a couple pics that I took. Excellent interior detail and s***ching Harley fenders? Nice truk-eh? Beautiful Candy Red I heard second hand this is riding on a late model ch***is.
Great pix from a great show! This is the first year I think I've ever missed since they started doing them (even before the All Ford in Campbell location.) I must be getting old cause doing the Asphalt this year took everything out of me, including my voice!
Thanks.... to the Strangers for a great show. Jus would like to see more of the houses open. Maybe next year????
The homes are open during the week usually when the parks open. Some friends of ours got married in the Fire House there.
This truck was amazing, the paint was stunning...and no surprise when it won Best Truck.... Good to see you...at a distance too Mike. I love you 'heap'
Nice meeting you 1BADNOV. Good seeing the regulars; Dave, Mike, etc Yea, Alvins truck is deep. Great doubleheader this weekend....Asphalt/Strangers. Brian
Thanks for all of the pics guys. The green RPU took home Best Hot Rod. You won't believe it but the dragster was found in a field a few months ago. The owner fired it up a few times during the show. Very cool.
There was a board with a ton of pics showing it when it was found, like Sean said, in a field...I ***ume he is working on history of the car, there were a couple of pictures of it from back in the day.
Alot of fab work went into that coupe. Overheard the owner discussing how he grafted in the longroof. didn't get to talk to him thoe. this is one of my favorites at the show.
What I heard was the rear is 53 or 54 Ford wagon, the front shoebox of course. If you look right past the p***enger door window, you can make out a silver colored floor behind the seats. I heard that was actaully the pickup bed floor from the donor ch***is. That then was welded to the wagon body. It had a modern car steering wheel and a hanging brake pedal which reinforced my belief it's on a late model ch***is. It's a cool looking car.
