Barbecue made in New York is about as Exciting as Pizza made in Oklahoma City. But hell, I wanna go!

The show officially starts at 10:00, we ran out of room the last few years so I would try to get there right around 10:00 or a little earlier. Sorry, Big-Daddy-George, but there's really no spots big enough for a flatbed....

is there any close spaces to park, a few guys have 64-68 cars and trucks and wanted to know, because no matter what its always fun takeing your ride on a road trip

 

Thats funny! Im like 15 mins outside of NYC and had pizza in Wisconsin or Illinois once. It was square, cut into squares, and was reallllly wierd. I imagine the same could apply for BBQ? But I'm vegetarian so alas...I just take ppls word for it.

Tried to buy a slice of Pizza in London, the dude behind the counter put it into a microwave. Being from The Bronx, I just had to leave at that moment.

 

This is by far one of my favorite shows. I might even have myself a new bomb to drive down there in.....

how is the bqe situation these days? Last year it was hell.. took over an hour from bayonne.. the construction was hell on me and the car too..

I don't know if i have guts enough to do the tunnel..

 

Construction is still going on, and it most likely always will be. I think its mostly on the westbound side though near Tillary. Just gotta know which lane to be in.

 

Band update for pre-show/car show........

 

Im going out to Indiana pick up my new '34 tonight...dont know what car Ill be in but IM THERE!! Good times under the BQE!! BBQ too!

 

Last year, I had to shut her down in the tunnel cause it was hot as balls and I dont run an electric fan....Took me over 2 hours to escape from New York....Traffic, heat and driving in Chinatown isnt to strait axle friendly...HAHA but its all worth it! Top it off with a six pack of PBR and call it a perfect day.

 

i actually had that pizza in illinios last year down town berfore the hunnert car show it made me sick square pizza with ragu sause . I'm getting sick just thinking about it. the road rats will be there
