I was out of line when I posted that thread last night about the Rat Rods. Hope y'all forgive me for my stupid post.

AnyHoo I am gonna try and spend less time on the HAMB, cause I spend way to many hours in front of the computer and not enough time on my projects!

Once again I apologize for the stupid post!

There was a lot of "rantin' and ravin'" going on. Was there Al key hall involved?

I have a "finished" show type quality car, and I have built two fully finished, sold one. (That was a mistake). I also have a black primer car now. I know it is much more work to produce a "finished" painted car with perfect bodywork, chrome, etc., a heck of a lot more work than a primered car. If I keep my primer car long enough, I will surely paint it, too.

I am one of the guys who likes flat black and flat paint on a hot rod. I think flat black on a traditional chopped coupe looks great, even with red wheels, which are despised by some. I also like the beautiful painted "finished" cars.

Many car clubs will not admit primered cars, they want to maintain their standards, that is their choice to do so.

I like them both, if the car is done "right".

But I do not like rust. To me rust is the enemy of the car. When I see it on a car I feel like I have to remove it.

I see no reason for you to appologize because people disagreed with your opinion.

And actually if you would have worded it a little differently more people would have understood what you were saying and there would have been less anymosity.
    my 2 cents

One good thing came from your rant last night.

    Someone posted this:

That picture reminded me of the closed threads about my car because it was not at all traditional and no one used to drive anything like it:

That's the trouble with the HAMB these days. By the time I log on and find something interesting a**** all the diversions, it's already been deleted and apologized for. Maybe Ryan needs some main categories: Tech, hot rods, engine, ***hole threads, etc. Whatever. I still love y'all-in a manly way, of course:)
