I've shipped a lot of fenders by greyhound. They are the cheapest I've found anywhere.

    butterfly wings? jumbo jet wings?

trying to think of a wing that might be found on a tradtional rod or custom but I'm drawing a blank.

  4. English word for fender....

    Paul,

Greyhound is best & cheapest specially if they are packed & ready to go.

translatOr, thanks that works much better.

    Greyhound isn't always the cheapest
but it has been the only way for large items like fenders for me too.

That'll be the side nearest the kerb/curb depending on whether you drive on the left or right. If you drive down the middle of the road in a Ferrari 365P or Mclaren F1, I guess it's my default political choice: none of the above.:D

  16. Wing window is what you Americans call it I believe.... :D

The small window that used to open when cars had 2 windows in the front doos...sometimes referred to as a vent window.

I never can get used to hearing the hood referred to as a bonnet and a convertible top as a hood. To me, a convertible top fits the term bonnet better.
