Does anyone in the Huntsville Alabama area know of any GOOD upholstery shops that can do a 56 Chevy front seat the way they are supposed to be done? I bought some mail order seat covers and the back seat and the bottom of the front seat went on great. But the front seat backs are sewn wrong.I took them to an upholstery shop and he sewed them wrong too, seams all wrong and incorrect padding.Looks like a teenager did it.I realize the tri-five chebby seats are complicated what with the seat shells and the back of the seat padding, but someone must be good enough to be able to do this right.

Thanks for the input.I used that shop about 15 years ago and was disappointed in his work.Maybe he had someone new when your dad used him.I will keep looking, but thanks again for helping.

James Russell is in Tanner/Athens. When Coyce retired, James started his own shop.
256-431-2197.pm me if you need more info. Coyce is doing OK from what I hear but has had some health problems.
They teamed up to restore my old interior in the 46(k9racer's old car).

Paul Atkins and M&M both do great work, but 56Don needs mail order seat covers done and with the caliber of work they do, why would they want to do his car. Paul charges $500 for an estimate. I know people that have spent over 5 grand some over 10 grand at these two shops.
