Don't know the difference, but it is a 348 or 409 Chevy intake. Maybe both. Nice find! [IMG]

I am sure it is big block Chevy. I am reasonably sure it is 409. It could be 396 but extreamly unlikely. Match it up to a gasket for a 396. If it does not fit, then it's a 409.

I'd give you $1,000 if it was for a small block olds...but olds is a lot wider, big block olds even more so.

Could be 366/396/402/454 BBC. The intake ports are not separate, just the exhaust ports are. The bolt hole above the center of the two intake ports looks the same as the 402 in my '70 Chevy C20.

Edelbrock used the initials from the motor it fits for a manifold's model designation - I would guess ML would be a Mercury/Lincoln. IIRC Lincoln/Mercury shared motor size in the early 60's.

ports dont't look right for a bbc, the center of the ports have a bolt hole and the only rectangular port bbc heads were huge...

everything else bbc was oval port.
my $$ is still on 348/409..

not to get picky, but wd6 is a dodge, wds6 would be for a desoto.

i have a wo6, a weiand drag star for a 303/324 rocket that i might let go. also pontiac and dodge drag stars too.

sorry you are right rick. I remembered wrong the desoto is wds6. I really think this is 348 409 I found an image of a 2x4 intake for a 348 409 and it looks the same and the one on ebay is the same.. I would be interested in your drag star for the dodge. My buddie is putting a dodge in his coupe. Let me know Aaron SAVAGE

It looks like a 348/409 with an open plenum eliminating the port dividers. Heres one with that bolt hole at the top of the intake ports.

  28. Is the road draft tube in the block or the intake on the chevy's?

You're right - it appears to be the same manifold. It looks like the C68 model number was polished off of this one.
