  10. You keep working on it so much and I will have nothing to do when I get out there....except fill the tank and break in the passenger seat! Now send out that generator! Don

Good for you man, that sounds AWESOME!! It's funny how that moment of a build makes you easily (kind of)forget all of the bs & hard work that it took to get there. That is an inspiration for sure

  23. Cool.....you're gonna love the slant-pan hydro if it's adjusted right. I've had a buncha cars with them [olds/ponchos and even a caddy] and the 2nd gear shift under power is unbelievable. Hope it has all the kick-down.throttle pressure linkage adjusted right. If you used the original linkage and followed the original GM shop manual instructions it should be ok...
    Have fun

The Hydro is what was keeping me down...I talked to Jimmy White about it and he remembered seeing a sprint car with a hydro with a choke style lever that you pull
and set mounted unde the dash... After I heard that I talked to some old timers and they said the same...
So I ended up using a Truck cruz control lever mounted under my seat that I can
turn and adjust the Pressure linkage to my liking.....When I drove it around the
block it shifted well where i had it witch was somewhere in the middle..I think its going to work good...As long as it has pressure..:D
