[IMG] This is the brand of brake parts I use.

If you find an auto parts store that sales "Raybestos" , in the catolog there will be all sizes and lengths of hoses with pics. You just need to know the end fitting sizes and the approximate lenght of hose. I had the same problem with my project. I hope this helps, good luck.

I had braided stainless lines made. When the guy made them for me, I had him cover the braided line with black shrink tube so that the stainless line was covered in black before he crimped the ends on.

Check out what chaddilac did on his line with his front end on his T. He ran hard lines down the frame, used a rubber line to cross from the frame to a hard line ran along the bones, and then another rubber line from the bone to the back of the wheel cylinder.

this is true ,even for brake hoses other than raybestos. Napa has all the hoses by type then length in the back of the book

the wheel cylinders for `48 ford brakes have a 7/16-20 thread on them were the hose screw in..so we know what one end has to be. then you determine what size brake line you want to use...either 3/16 or 1/4 . that is the inverted flare on the other end. then figure out your length , look it up in the book and you should be done

If you use the F-1 hoses they are a little longer....

You can see what I did if you look closely in these pics....I made some brackets for the sides of the frame where the steel line mates up to the hoses...

  7. There's a specialty brake place here in town, I can get them made any length if it comes to where you can't find what you need or want them made. (original looking rubber ribbed hose w/ orig. type steel ends) PM me if you do. Good luck.
