so i finaly got motovated to do some work. actualy i am hitting it hard trying to go to this years bonniville in it. i do not know if i will make it but you have to shoot for something. i am hoping ti have it in primer and when things die done at speed week i would like to brush paint it there. maybe even through some salt in the paint. we will see what happens. i finished up the transmission mount by making one of my rivoted mounts , finished up the fire wall, having the metal for the gas tank rolled up , finished the intake , exhaust and got alot more of the wood out and the body braced. i did not get a windshield frame with the car so i had to borrow /steel a mopar window frame from my dads collection of parts. the window frame looked to model a ish by being to square so i used and old 32 ford frame we had laying around for the top radised corners.i also added a body bead around the winshield opening . i think it looks alot better. i also am sealing up the floor right now and hope to be wiring the car in a week and a half. hope to seeya at bville

here is the latest. i just finished the grille and radiator mount. i used a 65 mustang radiator from the local parts store 120.00 new . it fit luke purfact. i did have to get some mesh to put between the grille and the rad to hide the look of the bottom tank. i also mounted the head lihgts . they are 35 chevy i got at the charlott swap this year. i finished the trans mount that will look like it is rivoted to the frame. i finished up the drive shaft tonnel but i will be adding a little something to it. the seats are in and they are 35 or 36 chevy that i got at last years hershe swap with all of the material removed. i had to narrow them to fit in the hupmobile.now i will be starting to plump and wire it to go to bonniville in a few weeks. that is if i can continue to go on 4 hours of sleep at night. i will have to finish alot of stuff when i get back.

i almost forgot . look at the photo of the dash . that insert is the side trim off of a 57 chevy. they make great insert panels , there cheap , and they are easy to work with. you can normaly pick them up with a few bends or scratches on the edges at swap meats cheap.

...this is one killer ride!...I really like everything about it.
...if you paint it at B'Ville, you should let all your friends help brush paint it, that'd make lasting memories.
