I believe Mr Hegge has since passed.....and I am looking for info on how to attain some photos (reprints of shots he took of my truck in the 1961/feb issue of HOTROD mag)
    anybody have any ideas?
I spoke to Greg sharpe a while back and mention his nephew had his entire collection of negs.
thats where the search ended...all I got was that this nephew may be living in pismo beach /cali

    any ideas ?

Hotrod mag really cant help me.

  2. Well Brush -this may not be what you are looking for ,But he used to live in St Louis,Missouri I believe......would that narrow the search?

Which got me to thinking, Ricman oughta be on that pioneer list.

I think Bob's widow still lives in the St. Louis area did you google him.

    Jeff:

Just thought that Bob Larivee Sr. might have some info. I remember seeing Hegge at all of the old Promotions Inc. shows that we attended in the 60's.

Hey, that's cool. I remember him (Bob Hegge) taking pictures of me at the old Autorama's in St. Louis. I grew up there, and my dad's car club sponsored them. Remember going to Detroit to see Bob Larivee, too. We would have the Promotions semi sittin' next to the house, full of cars, gettin' ready for the shows.
Here's a pic of me and my sister in front of the 'Batmobile'.
    Thanks for stirrin' those memories.

  12. Well, i think that Bob Larivee should also be on that list. I can't think of anyone that has influenced the hotrod, custom field more than Bob Larivee. I can't tell you how many times I have said that Bob Larivee lived the life I wanted to. What a legacy!
Slight hijack but I have to do these thoughts when I think about them or else I lose them.

Did anyone find out a contact for Bob Hegge or his photos? I heard he had passed away and his photo collection had been sold.

He took pics of my car for a Hot Rod magazine spread and I hoped there might be more pics available in the collection.

    Peter.

I'd also like to know any info about his pictures if they are found. He took this picture of my car at the 59 or 60 Ft Wayne IN auto show.
