Can someone post the editorial in the new "World of Rods" where Rich Boyd calls Jesse out? I think he's just looking for attention- so thought we could give him some ;)

  2. My favorite has to be Rod & Kulture ! :D OK so that one is kind of a given. I do really like Garage magazine though. It's well written and has great photography. I don't think it's ment to go head to head or take the place of the regular hot rod mags , it's ment to complement them. Thats the way I see it anyway . Mongo out !

  3. i can roll with this as well !!:D

  4. You can probably see the same girls in OSR . :D

  5. Josh Mills does the best tech' articles but he is not in the best magazine. The H.A.M.B. kicks all magazines asses when it comes to tech' articles!

The only really good tech comes from the big time mags. Hot Rod Deluxe, put out by HRM, has impressed me with their tech articles.

  8. Yes Tim! I forgot abot HR Dlx, perfect tech articles for sure.

  12. deluxe is cool but its too much reprint esp the tech

  13. Deluxe is now at my fav likker store, they keep it in with the Porn behind the counter. I feel dirty when I ask to see it:D

  14. I like alot of different rod mags, depending on whats inside, but my all time favorite mag was Tex Smith's "Hotrod Mechanix" followed by the first running of "Rodders Digest".

The Chevy ones..."High Performance CHEVY", "Super Chevy" and on occasion, "Popular Hot Rodding".

"The Horse" is still my favorite non-automotive mag.

My favorite is Hometown Hotrod Magazine. It is a fairly new magazine that only has a couple of tech articles, but the quality is outstanding....

Maybe I could put a vote in for Garage magazine but have never received mine since subscribing at least 6 months ago.I'll go with the H.A.M.B. for real world tech info.

Skratch is right... if you want period-correct early tech, go right to the source... the early magazines when this stuff was new. Check on eBay...

  29. Hey Fat Hack,
I still have all the Auto Buff magazines stored away that I bought back when I was in High School.

For tech I just jump on here. Garage is good, I don't always get it. TRJ is a must read. The only thing i subscribe to is Autoweek, I'm a dork that way.
