Hi, I'm new to the hotrod scene. Please check out my profile if you have the time. My dad just bought a '35 ford two door sedan in nice restored condition. We plan to build another ford flathead engine for it, hopped up with old-school type modifications. I am just beginning to learn about these engines and could use much help. I hope this forum will be a good fit. I am not a punky kid who thinks he knows stuff he doesn't. I admit I know very little since I just started researching the ford flathead v8 and haven't even put a wrench to one yet. I have read one book by Ron Halleran called Nostalgia, which I thought was a great read and very informative on how to build a hopped up flathead for street use. Thanks for the chance to learn. I'm looking forward to getting grease under my fingernails!:)
